Lonesome Dude

Well, this is what got me in trouble the last time: I'm just a joiner. And I'll join a site like this in breakneck fashion just like I joined the Air Force thirty years past. I quit school one afternoon, tested the next, and a week later walked off a plane in San Antonio and began learning to fold my shorts in a little, bitty six inch square. But then they taught me to work on airplanes, more than enough compensation for those squared away boxers. I miss the work and the people, especially the people, and I don't call them to mind as often as I should. Which is totally not cool, who knows what may have befallen them on this nasty planet. That's why I joined, essentially the same reason I enlisted 29 years ago - to meet some good people.
