Looking for My Own Man in Uniform

Ok. Let's see if I can get through the toughest part of this. I am a 31 yr old woman born and raised in Rhode Island. I am funny, open-minded, respectful, intelligent, sarcastic at times,and passionate. I am a music fanatic of all genres and I am trying to learn accoustic guitar at the moment. I also enjoy stupid comedies, horror flicks, and adventure/sci fi films. As far as sports, I like almost anything and love going to games and competitions. I also do a lot of needlepoint and cross stitch. I know, it may seem geeky or old fashioned but the framed works look great in a home and its a good feeling of accomplishment. I graduted in 2001 with my BAs in psychology and biology. Also, as of Jan 2010, I will have my MBA as well. I do not know much about the military and the current situations going on, but I want to learn as much as I can from the soldiers themselves, and not by the media. I am looking for my best friend as well as a lover. My dream is to have a family with at least one child of my own. I do not have any children currently, but am welcome to bring any children from past relationships with open arms. I want my man to be intelligent as far as conversations are concerned, and not necessarily based on college education. He also needs to be passionate, willing to open up and be honest with his feelings, funny, and able to deal with some sarcasm. I want a man who wants to be my equal, not my superior. I came on to this site because there is a better chance of finding a respectful, honest, strong man.
